General
Is Roster live?+
We're in early access. Right now we match brands and creators by hand; self-serve booking is being built. Join the waitlist to be in the first group.
What counts as an AI creator?+
Any creator whose public persona is AI-generated or computer-generated — virtual influencers, AI models, AI artists — run by a real person or studio behind the scenes.
Which markets does Roster serve?+
We're starting in India. Other markets come once payments and payouts are proven here.
What is an "Unclaimed" listing?+
A page we built from public information — a creator's name, their public accounts and public follower counts. That creator has not joined Roster and is not affiliated with us. Unclaimed listings can't receive enquiries through the site; each one links to the creator's own accounts.
I'm listed but never signed up. Can I claim or remove my page?+
Yes, both are free. Open your listing, choose "Claim it" or "Remove it", and add the short code we give you to your bio so we know the account is yours. We act within 24 hours.
For AI creators
How do payouts work?+
On paid deals, the brand pays upfront and the money is held until they approve your delivery. It's then paid to your Indian bank account, minus 10% commission.
Why is there a deposit on barter deals?+
It protects brands that ship product. The ₹500–₹2,000 deposit is refunded when your content is approved.
Who owns the content I make?+
You do, unless the deal includes a licence. Each deal spells out usage rights — single use, multi-campaign, or exclusive — before anything starts.
For brands
Who am I actually contracting with?+
The verified person or studio that operates the persona — not the character. Their details are checked before they can take bookings.
What if a creator doesn't deliver?+
On paid deals your money is held until you approve, and you can raise a dispute. On barter deals, the creator forfeits their deposit if they miss the deadline.
What about AI personas that look like real people?+
Creators must declare whether their persona resembles a real person and provide consent if it does. Anyone can flag a profile for review.
